Sausage Corn Bread

  1. Brown sausage in pan
  2. Set aside sausage and make cornbread mix
  3. Oil cast iron pan and pour in cornbread mix
  4. Add sausage
  5. add shredded cheese, but withhold some for final topping
  6. Bake cornbread based on package, I usually follow the the 8 x 8 time as a general rule of thumb. If unsure just go a few minutes less and use a toothpick to test (should come out clean).
  7. Take out cornbread, turn on broiler and melt cheese along with any final toppings.
  8. Ready to eat!
